Isabel O'Donoghue
I am an Advanced Teacher who works as a Deputy Curriculum Leader for MFL in a secondary school in England. I have been teaching Spanish in the UK for more than 20 years. I am a Journalist and have a Master’s Degree in Economics. In my native land, Colombia, I was a University Lecturer for 5 years, teaching Spanish Language and Economics as well as doing research. I am passionate about languages and besides Spanish I also speak Italian, English and I have a good knowledge of French and Portuguese. I have been awarded the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching (NPQLT) by The Department for Education, UK and I enjoy having new challenges. I am a GCSE and A-Level Spanish examiner. I am also a member of the Association for Language Learning (ALL) as well as of The Society for Education and Training (SET). I am also an author and have published 3 books: “Compartiendo con mi abuelo en El Espino”, “A Woman on Fire” and “Una Mujer Imparable.” They are available on Amazon.
